Yee haw! A great western with all the themes of a true spaghetti western from Hollywood of the 70s. We have here the new guy in town, the villians by their fireside hideout in the desert, and a town ambush. The shootout at the end is well paced and quite funny (in its goriness). As with all good westerns, this one ends with a showdown in the street between the sheriff and the outlaw. Who will win? Do I detect the theme for the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? Notice the pivotal shot in any western staredown sequence, the shot of the gun at the hip. I was looking for it, and bam! there it was. There are some issues with poor image quality, and not much animation (lots of still shots), but overall, a great bit of dialog, a nice quick story, and some funny gunslinging.
