I recently found this on an old video tape at the bottom of my closet.
Just kidding. "Little Guys!" is my parody of/homage to the toy commercials I remember seeing when I was growing up during the late '80s/early '90s.
As someone with a love for toys and an overwhelming sense of nostalgia, I decided to take LEGO bricks - a toy that can be used to create pretty much anything - and use them to make an exciting commercial for a fake toy that does essentially nothing.

This film is part of the Staff's Favorites collection of NickMOC | | Wow ... what can I say? Other than that the humans depicted in this unusual little film look positively awesome. Of course in addition to that I will say that the concept of a late 80's toy commercial parody is pulled off exceedingly well here and almost feels like something from 20 years ago (except that 20 years ago there were few if any brickfilms this good). In addition to being visually interesting, the voice acting and animation is quite good as well. The narration sounds perfect and the supporting characters are also excellent. There are few if any real problems with 'Little Guys!' except that watching what is basically a commercial/commercial parody over and over again might get slightly tiresome; the first couple of watches, however, are sure to charm!
Buy a Little Guy today. Heck, you might want to collect 'em all!
An amazing amount of work has obviously gone into this film. The characters are well designed and animated even better. The camera look seriously made it look like an old TV ad, and if I hadn't seen it here first I probably would have thought it was. This film truly is a master piece of brickfilming.
