A wacky fantasy tale about Shawn the Knight and Beetroot the halfling, and their attempts to gain a reputation. Little do they realize just how frustrating that might be to achieve.
This film took over two months to make and was made for the Inventions, Discoveries and Extraordinary Achievements contest. It placed 5'th out of 10 entries, which is disappointing considering the amount of time I spent on it, but pretty good considering its lack of a fancy camera or dazzling effects.

Reputation was one of my personal favorites to have come out of the IDEA contest. Technically, it's nothing overly spectacular, but I found it to be quite funny and enjoyable.
Animation, cinematography, and all the technical jazz are about average (though some of the dialog animation could have been a bit more interesting). I was impressed at how Shale managed to animate a walk cycle for the 'short' legs. The voicework was very good all around, Buxton's performance in particular. I also found acericardo's brief appearance as two rehabilitated dragons to be entertaining as well.
The story, while a bit simple, was rather entertaining and well-written, but the pacing seems to have taken a bit of a hit due to the 6 minute time limit.
Overall, it's a fun little film that I had a good time watching. Definitely one to check out.
