    I just got home from my vacation and I made this movie in about a half-hour to test walking animation. I used my new quickcam, but as you can see, I need to go buy some lights. This movie was made to test a walking animation, so let me know what you think of the walking

    About your large file size: For ten seconds, that is rediculous. I’m dling the small one, and in fact it is done, but 16 megs for 10 second test… well let’s just say I am :freak:

    So, go ahead and remove that one. In fact, for walking tests, 400 k is about the limit anyway. We don’t need a 16 meg file of a guy walking… 😀

    No offense, just wanted to set your path straight.

    Okay, a 51 second movie with ten seconds of actual animation is not good. Especially for a walking test.

    About your walking animation, which I am sure, is why you posted this:

    It needs some work, to put it bluntly. I’m not sure about the “Bending over walking thing” except that I know it doesn’t look very professional. Try looking at Hali’s walking tutorial, if you haven’t already.

    Also, your lighting was horrible. Definitely buy some lights.

    That’s about all. Not the worst film I have seen, but heed what I said, and you’ll do fine.

    Hi Logan,

    I found the action in this film to be terribly slow. You could have done it in half the frames you used…

    Also, the walking figure bent over way too much. Or did it have to look like he was sneaking up? If so, you should have chosen better sound effects to illustrate this fact.




    I was expecting something more exciting than just shooting the guy to get rid of him. I thought this would be a hilarious little quickie from the title but it wasn’t; oh well. I’ll try to say something positive though, you did a lot of work just to make a walking test.
