you now, programs like windows movie maker STINK when it comes to movie making. they don’t even have one special effect!!
any good programs i can use?

Does ANYBODY have any programs i can use? i’m stuck using stinking windows movie maker!

Well… If you are looking for a Special Effects program, Wax 2.0 would be Your best bet. It is like after effects only harder to learn…AND ITS FREEWARE! I love me some freeware.

For regular Video Editing Wax is still the best freeware for the job.

Here are some tutorials on how to use it.

Yes, WAX 2.0 is a good one. I only have freeware. But here’s what I use:

WAX 2.0 for special effects and chroma keying. for individual frame editing
    Audacity for audio editing
and believe it or not I still use WMM to put it all together in the end…

Check out the Blender, which is open source and free. There are a few open source out there…

You are going to need multiple type of programs to do all the different type of editing for your movies. I use the following:

MonkeyJam: For taking photos and putting them in directories. You can also use iKITmovie, which is really good I hear!

Audacity for the sound editing and effects.

MoviePlus 6x: For putting all the video, sound, and images together and creating the final movie!

DrawPlus 5x: For doing all the graphic design or graphic editing on the photos and images to help create all the special effects, mouth shapes, etc. Also to do the layer and erase editing or masking or all kinds of graphic stuff.

PhotoPlus 6x: To do any kind of image editing and effects and exporting that image to any kind of format.

Fluid Mask 3: This is used to do all the chrome key “Green screen” effects and color removal editing.
