Brickfilm Documentary Project
This project is for anyone who would like to help and contribute to make a documentary about brickfilming! This project is still in its infancy, so anything you would like to do to help will be greatly appreciated.
Plot: An animation style that has been around for more than 40 years, brickfilming is one of the most popular stop motion styles out there. But how did it all begin, and how has it evolved into what it is now?
Guys there is a feature documentary being made by BricksinMotion.

Okay – thanks for letting me know.
Wow, I’ve been away a while. Hey-ho. Hmm. Wait- You got fancypants? That’s awesome! His StarWars animations are so smooth and well focused. Anyways, maybe after info on journey to the moon, perhaps move on to The Magic Portal? As far as I know, that’s the first ever animation done with Lego minifigures. Um. Is it me or has no-one come back here…[Read more]
I don’t know. This is bricksandlemons’ project, and I haven’t heard any updates lately.
I just set up the interviews.
Hey guys, wassup, I’ve already told bricksandlemons this, but in case anybody wants to know, we’ve hooked up fancypants for an interview.
He sent me a link to another VERY recent documentary on brickfilming, but it was short and focused more on the inspiration aspect, not the evolution aspect. So, I think it would be good for everyone involved…[Read more]
Alright, found some info, this is straight from wikipedia. (Meaning referencing will be needed.)

Bricksandlemons is right, journey to the moon was first, but Linday Flea’s ”The Magic Portal” really got the brickfilm ball going. You guys should talk about how The magic portal wasn’t first, but is one of the most iconic.
Any other thoughts?
Okay guys, first things first. We need as much information as we can on Journey to the Moon, the first brickfilm ever. If you can get some information on the film and its creator, please comment it under this post. Thank you!

Welcome, everyone! As you all know, this group is for a project to make a brickfilm documentary. However, many of you have been asking questions on more details, and I hope that this post will help answer those questions.
This project, not unlike “A Brickfilms.com Community Brickfilm”, is a community project. Here, we can trade research, find…[Read more]
This has me interested, what do you need?
Right now, the most important thing we need is research. We need to find the big milestones in brickfilming, as well as brickfilmers to interview. We could even get some people here who are willing to be interviewed.
Can’t wait to help with this bro!
I will edit some if you want me to?
Sounds great, IcarusDigital! Thanks!
