Cameras
There are several options available for capturing images and transferring them into your computer. While the various types of cameras each have their advantages and disadvantages, the following features are highly desirable in any camera chosen for brickfilming:
- Manual focus
- Manual Brightness/Contrast
- Manual White Balance
- Remote control (either handheld or computer controlled)
- “Live” feed to the computer or an external monitor
Many cameras like to automatically determine the focus, brightness, and white balance settings; which means that your film can change dramatically (light flicker, blurring, etc.) as it is played back.
