NTSC
NTSC (National Television System Committee) is the standard television and video format used in the US, Canada and East Asia. NTSC video is a field-based video signal displaying 59.94 fields per second with a vertical resolution of 525 horizontal lines. This is roughly equivalent to 29.97 or 30 frames per second.
