Sound Effects
Sound effects are audio clips – usually short – that are added to a film in order to give the audience a better sense of what is going on in the scene. Some examples would be footsteps, explosion noises, kung-fu slaps, etc. Traditionally these are also known as foley, being so named after Jack Foley , a pioneer in the art of film sound.
A great resource for sound effects would be The Brickfilms Sound Library . Additional resources can be found in the Sounds section of the Resources page.
