Storyboard
A storyboard is a visual representation of a film in which each scene or shot is drawn as a separate frame. It gives you a solid idea of how each scene will play out and keeps you on track while shooting the movie. Otherwise, things will often end up looking thrown-together or rushed (but that’s not to say great films can’t be made without storyboards!). It’s also a very handy technique for planning out effect sequences and scenes that involve a lot of simultaneous character movements.
