You can cancel your patronage with Paypal and it will stop sending money from your bank account every year, I did it too and it helped.
Ahh. I am being dumb again, sorry for that. Thanks.
This is very confusing, the news page says the awards chat is on March 14th, the first post says it’s in a month’s time and now it’s on the 22nd? Now what is the exact date?
Congratulations, all of you. Looking forward to the next THAC already.
Bah, I wish I was an Aussie.
I’ll be there, good time 22:00 for me. Also on a Friday which is perfect. I enjoyed the last BAMPA’s chat with the live podcast of LOTL and Chosen1, too bad they’re not making podcasts anymore. Oh and I don’t bother about the name of the awards actually, it could’ve been better but I’m fine with this.
That’s our Wax paper, unfortunately it’s brown and we don’t have it in white. I guess I’ll have to try with tracing paper then.
EDIT: / Thanks, I’ll try that.
Those are some nice SUPER effects there, Lech. Especially the Fireball, did you use Trapcode Particular for it?
“Leonardo812″ wrote: I like it quite a bit. What software did you use for chroma keying? It could be that the part you chroma keyed was in the background, so the edges turned out blurry. If that was the case, you might consider using…
This is a shot from a short film I’m making, what I want here is a glow around the TV which reflects on the walls. I have no idea how to do that, what do you guys suggest? And as you can see, I’m not really good at Chromakeying.
-A Logitech webcam, can’t remember which one.
-Stop Motion Pro 4.
Then I got:
After I joined brickfilms:
-Logitech Quickcam pro 4000
-Stop motion Pro 4

And now I have:
-Adobe After Effects
-Adobe Premiere Elements 3
-(Avid xpress pro)

Well this is basicly how I organize everything.
This has never occured to me before, maybe your computer can’t handle all those programms at once so it does stuff like that. After effects can eat alot of your RAM. Hmm, the only thing that comes to my mind is not alt-tabbing but just clicking the programs on your windowsbar at the bottom.
Well, I was about to see No Country for Old Men.
But, I got send away….
even accompanied by my parents.
This is really the first time that they check your age. I could always see the 16+ films at our cinema, even Matrix Reloaded with my niece when I was 12. Bah, I was so looking forward to that film. I think the age check just…[Read more]

-Coffee and carnage
Felix made me want to try that out too , so I took a transparent piece of paper en glued that on a holed out cardboard plate. I placed that in front of one of the two lamps and got this.
It helps, but I can’t get the same effect like Felix. You can still see the dust on his arm, on Felix’ picture you can’t see the dust anymore.

You can also order it from the Adobe site, if I’m correct.
Download the trial first and see if it works.
Yes, like mentioned, zoom all the way in and see if there are any gaps. My editing software has a feature which closes the gaps between the scenes, maybe WMM has that too. I doubt it though.
Hmm, I think I may patronize myself at the end of the week. Those adds do start to annoy me a little and I would like to contribute to this hobby and the site.
@LBJ: I’m glad you liked it, the MOH soundtrack suits this perfectly
@ahnt: Yes, I didn’t have enough time to do alot of animation.
Haha I just noticed. I just grabbed some shells from the gunbasket and didn’t pay attention to the looks of it, good you pointed that out.
