Ahh. I am being dumb again, sorry for that. Thanks.
This is very confusing, the news page says the awards chat is on March 14th, the first post says it’s in a month’s time and now it’s on the 22nd? Now what is the exact date?
Congratulations, all of you. Looking forward to the next THAC already.
I’ll be there, good time 22:00 for me. Also on a Friday which is perfect. I enjoyed the last BAMPA’s chat with the live podcast of LOTL and Chosen1, too bad they’re not making podcasts anymore. Oh and I don’t bother about the name of the awards actually, it could’ve been better but I’m fine with this.
That’s our Wax paper, unfortunately it’s brown and we don’t have it in white. I guess I’ll have to try with tracing paper then.
EDIT: / Thanks, I’ll try that.
Those are some nice SUPER effects there, Lech. Especially the Fireball, did you use Trapcode Particular for it?
“Leonardo812″ wrote: I like it quite a bit. What software did you use for chroma keying? It could be that the part you chroma keyed was in the background, so the edges turned out blurry. If that was the case, you might consider using…
This is a shot from a short film I’m making, what I want here is a glow around the TV which reflects on the walls. I have no idea how to do that, what do you guys suggest? And as you can see, I’m not really good at Chromakeying.
-A Logitech webcam, can’t remember which one.
-Stop Motion Pro 4.
Then I got:
After I joined brickfilms:
-Logitech Quickcam pro 4000
-Stop motion Pro 4
-Adobe premiere 6 LE
And now I have:
-Adobe After Effects
-Adobe Premiere Elements 3
-(Avid xpress pro)

Well, I was about to see No Country for Old Men.
But, I got send away….
even accompanied by my parents.
This is really the first time that they check your age. I could always see the 16+ films at our cinema, even Matrix Reloaded with my niece when I was 12. Bah, I was so looking forward to that film. I think the age check just…[Read more]
Felix made me want to try that out too , so I took a transparent piece of paper en glued that on a holed out cardboard plate. I placed that in front of one of the two lamps and got this.
It helps, but I can’t get the same effect like Felix. You can still see the dust on his arm, on Felix’ picture you can’t see the dust anymore.
Hmm, I think I may patronize myself at the end of the week. Those adds do start to annoy me a little and I would like to contribute to this hobby and the site.

So many good ideas, I think I’ll go with MIST from Imperialscouts but like Rev and Nick said, we should pay more attention to the ideas than the acronyms.
Looking forward to it, am I still counted in? Because I haven’t made it, shame…

Yes, that was my plan for the next official poster with the release date. I have just started filming after drawing the storyboard so I don’t want to spoil the film already, if you know what I mean
I think you should leave the motion blur, I don’t think a blur is needed in this particular case since (I suppose) the person is walking away from the camera and not running. It’s good that you placed him in one third of the frame and not in the middle which is a bit boring, also your light shining into the building is clever.
A VERY quickly made teaser poster for Hungry Tribe III
I watched the youtube version since I didn’t have enough time to download (it is downloading slow by the way), really amazingly done. I remembered you showed a whole mine quarry in the WIP thread which was really impressive, now I finally know where it’s from although it wasn’t really widely featured in the film
I can definitely see that you…[Read more]
Ahh, nice :).
