I’ve recently bought two Indiana Jones sets. The first one being the motorcycle chase, and the second being the well of souls set.
The motor cycle chase is one of my favorite sets in recent years, with cool (new?) motorcycle designs, Dr.Jones senior’s wicked pod, built mainly out of basic pieces (cool!) that just attaches to one of the…[Read more]
I’d always been interested in animation (I even did my grade four science project on it) but I was more aware of cartoon animation back then. I also had a huge love of lego (as most children did…I just never grew out of it )
One day I read an article about a lego set that allowed you to make animations with lego, and I haven’t…[Read more]
Are the surrounding environments actually lego this time around? ‘Cause that was something I missed in most other LEGO video games.

Like a few people have said, I agreed up until meatloaf.
Considering this list is about influential artists, not popular ones, I hardly believe people like Weird Al deserves a spot on the list, as some people here have stated he should be…But I don’t think meatloaf did either…
I’ve been a member of this site for a very long time, and as such, I would love to give something back to this wonderful community. In becoming a review panel member, I would achieve that goal. Also, it would give me the chance to watch many films that I might otherwise miss. As a huge movie enthusiast, this is an opportunity I would not like…[Read more]
You know, a few years back they sold some of those exact sets at a dollar store near my house. I bought a few, and they were decent. Definately a lot cheaper than real lego, but they were good for background characters and the like.
One annoying thing I remember, which seems to be true with these guys as well after looking at the pictures, is…[Read more]

Geeze, I’ve been here for a long time.
What kind of wires can you connect to your camera? If you can connect AV cords to it, then you could hook it up to your TV, and, if a DVD player that can record stuff is available to you, you can record it that way. I did this for my last film that had live action in it (using the trial version of GOLDleo, which only allowed me to take footage…[Read more]

If you can play that again, find what key you’re playing in, then stay in that key! It sounds really awkard to jump to some obscure…
Here’s my entry!
Just look to the right of the page, , it’s hard to miss.
I had a lot of fun making this, as I did last ctsc.
Random comment: Am I the only one who found The Carol of the Bells rather creepy, and not so…cheery and christmas-ey?
Wow, that was a ridiculous question now that I think about it. Thanks though
Does what’s white automatically print off as clear or do you have to click off a specific setting?

Looks like i’m gonna have to add this to the logitech directory :wink

That’s what it’s called! Frame averaging. I couldn’t remember for…[Read more]
Not sure about the settings resetting, which is lame.
But, for the grain you can click on the orange sqaure to the very left of the stop motion capture window (beside the image of dinosaur looking thing walking) which will make it so that when you capture a frame it will capture multiple images and mix them together, reducing grain and image…[Read more]
If you’re going to go with new eyes (which doesn’t really have to be done unless you’re going for a specific look) you could always stick the new ones over the actual face, using the old eyes as a reference point as to where to stick the new ones, meaning less jiggling around. The same can be done for the mouth, though if you’re using a new…[Read more]
This is cool, I’ve definately had an urge to do some face animation for a long time, so I may try this out. I think I’d have more fun doing it the swap heads technique rather than digital anyways…
Wow, that was a very well done film. Animation top notch, great, simple story that was very well executed, the whole thing just had a great feel to it. I’m not going to repeat much of what other people already said, but I’ve gotta say, I love the way you made the art gallery look. The peices in there look totally like the kind of cold “modern”…[Read more]

I did indeed make another trailer for this a while back, and I’m glad you enjoyed both of them!
Looks awesome! The animation looks great and…
After visiting the web site for Nero, I’m under the impression that I would have to pay 50+ dollars for anything they offer, anyone know of some free stuff?

Thanks for all the comments guys!
It was indeed partly inspired by Gremlins, and that goes especially for this add which was inspired by the teaser trailer for Gremlins 2.
It was also highly inspired by the work of Ray Harryhausen, and so far, I think it’s turning out quite well!
