a tad off topic….
Did everyone really access the site? it didn’t let me get there; it said it didn’t exist. And I have firefox too, and I had no problems. If there were any I wouldn’t have posted it.
And by the way, I wouldn’t recommend completely deleting IE, becaue it’s usually a key part of xp. I had a couple problems with my system…[Read more]
I asked this question almost a year ago, and it was one of my first 10 posts. Stefan even said the same thing to me.
Cotton balls really help. If you pick at them, you’ll find that they’re actually little strips of material rolled into a ball, and so if you stretch them out you can make a long smoke trail with enough of them. If you…[Read more]
I actually think it looks pretty good. It seems to fit right into place with the “featured film” box. And we should understand that as this place gets more traffic, rev will be more pressed for cash, and will have to take more measures to keep this place online.
And new members should know that it is usually NOT smart to start a mac/windows…[Read more]
Yeah, storyboards never show every frame of an animation (unless it is a very obvious reason, like showing a frame-by-frame effect). Otherwise it would be hundreds or maybe even thousands of pages. Instead, you divide your movie into reasonable sections, and just draw the beginning of each of those. In other words, its pretty much the same as a…[Read more]
does both condition 1 and condition 2 have to be true for you to vote? or just one of them?
i’m thinking that we should put up some sort of warning to supporters of bush…
but yes, that was pretty funny.
done! The mac version still needs to be made, and it’s going slow due to some problems, but essentially, i’m done.
It’s 9:40 P.M. here in California, and since Revmen has the deadline at midnight moutain time, I technically only have 20 minutes left. Close one.
Good luck to all!

Alternatively, use a blowtorch.
I think what you could do is:
Get some red clay
take a frame of the fig
stick red clay all over his head
remove the head
stick red clay all over his chest
remove the chest
Other than that, Buxton’s way is great (the other one, not the blowtorch. Although the blowtorch would be…[Read more]
yes, with brickshelf down, there must be about a few hundred films “temporarily disabled”. Ouch.
I’m doing my best to try to upload to 1and1, but it’s coming rather slowly. It’s a pretty good service, except for the fact that your username and password have to be a random jumble of numbers, so it’s impossible to remember.
some very interesting ideas.
I think that we should make sure that the contest isn’t limited just to people who own a certain brand. For example, if we did a contest on spiderman, only those with spiderman legos could compete.
A crazy idea, but maybe we could do some sort of adventure film that “requires a car chase”, or something equally…[Read more]
pretty nice! I saw some great editing there (the great music, the old style credits). However, it thought it was way too grainy. But still, I look forward to seeing it!
My original search was for a program that would put the stuff i wrote into a script format. Also, I would like to know if word comes with a script template. I don’t need help with the ideas, though i am sorry for not giving a complete question.
I found the normal format kind of annoying, and I though maybe there were programs that did this, but i guess I will just learn it anyway.
i think this has already been asked, but has anybody thought about getting a “current number of films in the directory” counter? It would be really great, and I prefer not to count every movie just to see how many there are…
too hard to say. There are too many good movies out there. it’s like asking me what my favorite movie ever is, because i can’t answer that either. There a bunch of action, and a bunch of comedy, and a bunch of serious…. the list goes on and on.
It’s the same with lego movies. I simply can’t call one the greatest of all time. But some to begin…[Read more]
In reply to the original question:
I have never even thought of that!
I love to listen to music, but i find it a little harder to concentrate when doing other things. I’m pretty sure that unless it’s “easy listening”, i will be messing up a lot. I’ve tried listening to music while reading, and… oh man, i was reading things twice,…[Read more]
not bad! I liked the mouths moving, those are always great. The ending just confused me though. i think it would be about 5/10. Which is definetely not bad!
i found that movie pretty good, like about 6/10. The fighting and the jokes were better than i was expecting, but I really think that a special edition for sound is in order. I’m not very good at SFX, so how did you make the characters fly through the air like that? Was it bluescreen, plexiglass, what?
This is AWESOME! I will definitely be entering! Now I just gotta find a saying and a way to warp my pirate film to fit the contest before it’s done…
people, i think it would be a great idea if the next time he posts some totally worthless spam, absolutely nobody should post there (i know i know, it’s incredibly hard not to), But why do you think he keeps doing this?? Practically every topic he’s started has gotten from two to five pages! He lives for all of this reaction!
So please, let’s…[Read more]
