Nosni, I can’t say either way, it is Felix’s desicion, but I’m thinking the melody would be the way the lyrics are sung in the original.

Nos, I couldn’t recognize the song in your entry but I don’t really want to exclude it. I think it’s obvious that you could figure out the melody by listening to the original song. There was a link in my first post, remember? Please add the lyrics or the melody.

James, very good job! I was waiting for a harp part, though. ;)

Good to see this won’t be a 2 entries contest, we already have some very nice entries but I’d love to break the record of the first CTSC. I think it was 12.

And I still wish Lowweek would enter a CTSC…

I was pretty happy with how this recording came out. I’m on vocals and guitar here, probably playing a few too many notes. My dad helped with the recording, and I can’t take credit for the backing track, which is from Hendrix’s “Red House”.
Comments are more then welcome.

i would like it a TON more if you:
1, didn’t steal the jimi hendrix recording
2, actually sang, instead of talking
3, mixed the song better
otherwise, it was good

Here is my version…

* Singing is done by me.
* The bass is played by me.
* What sounds like a guitar, is actually played on a bass by me with some distortion added afterwards.
* The drum track was made using Finale.

ok, that wasn’t too bad. the thing that bugged me the most was the bass that was made to sound like a guitar, it just didn’t sound right. but other than that, it was pretty good. i see that you are from Norway, have you ever heard of Extol? they are a Norwegian black metal band, they’re awesome 8-)
