Has anyone here gone to Creations Rotule? They’ve got the minifig hall of fame and some other stuff. A little while back they had a contest for making a movie post with LEGO. The contest is over but people can still submit work to be published. My entry is the Harry Potter one

Heh I like those. Those are really great. And, heh, Bob from Bluntman’s films is on the cover of the Matrix poster! With different clothes, that is. Lol… Heres the matrix one btw

I’m also represented. I made the one from the treasure of the Sierra Madre. I know it isn’t very nice, but I worked hard. Now that I have Adobe Photoshop I’m shure I could do it better.

Yours was pretty nice Ferder. I’m shure it went down a great deal of work.

I used Arcsoft photo Studio. Your right. It did take a lot of work. At first I wasn’t going to enter the contest. I was just going to wait until someone submited a Harry Potter poster (it seem so obvious). I couldn’t belive it when nobody did it or the Phantom Menace so I decided to do the poster myself. I chose not to do the Phantom Menace because there aren’t any Queen Amadala minifigs out yet.
I took quite a while for me to do all the cut-and-pasting and layering.
it was also an exta challenge since I don’t own a PEICE of Harry Potter lego.

Wow great work.
Those posters looks really good.

The poster from “AI” I like the most, it looks like is’t done by a experienced photoshop nerd.

Ferder, yours Harry Potter poster looks also awesome.
Well done.

How much time and efford did your put to create it??

I took a while to find all the best pictures from Lego catalouges and magazines that matched the real poster. I think I worked on the poster over three evenings, so maybe about 4 or 5 hours of work. I’m not sure.

Hello all !

While looking the details of people who visited my website (referrers, browser type, etc), I found out this page. I had never heard of this forum before, so I was surious and read all your messages. It’s nice to see my website is generating discussions on other websites! :D

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who submitted a poster. It’s always a great joy for us to receive a new poster from someone else than me 8)

I’d like to encourage all who wish to contribute to do so. It’s true that it takes some time to make a nice poster, but after that, the poster stays online forever and you can check up if your work is appreciated or not with our new rating system.

BTW, if you have not rated the posters yet, you should really go now and rate all of them. It’s a great way to encourage us to continue our efforts and it will maybe have a positive effect on other people so they will send us their great piece of work.

I’m very happy that you people like our project. I hope to see more of your work soon! :)

The poster is very nice. It just used a little to much of computer graphics instead of real LEGO. but other then that it loooks great!
