I know that there are two other topics about bandwidth, but my problem is a little different. I was e-mailed this message:

The domain quigikev has reached its bandwidth
limit (10433.38/10000.00 Megs).

Please contact the system admin as soon as possible.

!! Do not respond to this message. Your reply will go nowhere. !!

However, I am still able to download from my site. I’ve never gotten anything like this before, but I’m guessing it might have something to do with “Writer’s Block” being featured. What happens if I go over my limit? Does it disable the site temporarily? If it does, how long does it take to come back? And why does it tell me to contact the system administrator?

EDIT: I think I found what is causing the bandwidth. I think its the thumbnail on the home page. Before, it was a lightly compressed PNG at 640×480. I just reduced it from 277KBs to 4KBs as a jpeg at a smaller resolution. But I still don’t know what to do about the bandwidth notice I received.
