As some of you have noticed my robot movie is much to large for people to download (even with cable). right now it’s 26mb and in a mpeg file. When I submitted Windy Day to lego it was about 3mb, but when it appeared on their website it had been shrunk to only a few kb without any quality change. I was wondering how they did that and if I could also shrink the size of The Machine. |

Windy Day wasn’t 26mb. The robot one was. (just in case you were confused, which you may not have been) |

Thats fantastic! Thank you so much! Can you tell me exactly how you shrunk the size. I noticed you changed it to a WMV file. Is that all i need to do to ‘shrink’ my other movies. |

I imported the file into Window Movie Maker, put the clips back in order, specified the size of the file that I wanted, and saved it. BTW- I can shrink it smaller if you want (the quality WILL suffer). |

That’s OK. It’s small enough. I was wondering if Windows Movie maker is available free over the net. I may use it to edit my movies. |

It’s easier to send it. Of course the other way is possibale too, with a little more hassles (not much). |

I downloaded Win Mov Make but I don’t really know how to run it. I think i can figure out the editing part (since it’s similar to what i use) but I don’t know how to put a bunch of my LS clips into it. I’ve tried “import into collection” but that just makes each clip it’s own collection instead of them being all in one place where I want them. What’s the real way i’m soposed to do this? |

This is what you should do. Create a new collection. If it’s image files you want to get, go to the folder where they are, select all, and click import. If it’s movie files you want to import, Windows Movie Maker automatically makes the new collections (no way around that). My suggestion is to import image files instead of video clips. If you still want to import video clips, you can drag the clips from the different collections and stick them in the timeline. You can always delete the collections after you’ve saved your project as a movie. |
