I’m kind a new at brickfilming and i was wondering what are some good free software for making films. I have a dslr camera so if there is any good software for frame capturing i would also like to know.

Logan-Moeller actually listed a few programs for editing to get you started: http://brickfilms.com/2012/08/18/editing12/

Also, DragonFrame supports several DSLR cameras with capturing frames. Hope that helps.
