Hi Brick Films,

My name is Sarah Herman and I am the author of two LEGO-related books: A Million Little Bricks (published September 2012) and Extreme Bricks (due out in November). My publisher is Skyhorse – who are also responsible for Brendan Powell Smith’s Brick Bible books.

I am in the early stages of planning a third book that offers readers instructions and advice on how to make their own brick films. Given the upcoming release of The LEGO Movie as well as a planned Ninjago film, I believe the world’s interest in brick films is going to increase and more LEGO fans are going to want to know all the tips and tricks of the trade.

That’s where you come in. I was hoping that would be interested in working with me to put the book together – I would be hoping to interview the site’s creators, prominent members, and build on your existing resources to create an entertaining, informative collection of advice and experience that appeals to rookie directors and brick film veterans.

At this point, I am gauging your interest in being involved with the project, as it is still in the early stages. If you could let me know as soon as possible if this is something that appeals to you and your members, I would be most grateful, so we can get the ball rolling.

Kind regards,

Sarah Herman
