This is a little cheeky of me but, just in case people haven’t seen (and we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out if they were interested!) we’re running a Brick Film competition for Warren Elsmore’s ‘Brick City’ book.

All the full details are over in the contests section of this very site!
(Or on Facey-B here: http://on.fb.me/13Be2Ks )

But in short:

Brick City Brick Film Competition (closes midnight on Father’s Day – 16th June 2013):

Be in with the chance of winning a £200 gift card for the LEGO stores (plus there are some runners up goodies) by creating a short LEGO stop motion animation. Easy-peasy for Brick Film fans!!

It only has two limiting requirements (other than keeping it PG13!)

- it can be no longer than 1 minute
- it must feature a building or cityscape – no matter how big or small.

Fun, surreal or serious, slap stick or trailer-esque in nature, anything goes!
UK entrants only (sorry internationals, we don’t have rights to offer prizes for this book outside of our UK borders!)

We’d love to see the entries of true brick film masters and first timers alike – you may even have something that already fits the bill!

So if you’re interested do have a crack at it! All the best :)

Anyhoo, thanks all.

The deadline for entries was extended until this Sunday!

That isn’t much time, but you probably have something suitable sitting lonely and unloved in the deepest darkest depths of your harddrive! Why not give it a go?

Thanks all.

Hi guys, just to let you all know, I won the Lego Brick City competition, for the new Brick City Lego For Grown Ups book, By Warren Elsmore.

The extra cool thing about it also is that it was my very first Brickfilm I have ever done.

And I’m extremely happy.

Thank you to all the people who made the book, the author, the publishers, and the people involved in the competition, and the social media sites.
