Really good – That could’ve gone on for several minutes! I’m sure it would also be possible to get some music connected to bricks if that was desireable.
I know that there are many more films with awesome scenes, you should be careful not to focus TOO much on ROTE although it is really the most ground-breaking of brickfilms in terms of SFX.
For instance, some of the films with animated mouths (PACO’s world of sports f. ex.) and more.. I just realized I could go on for a long time with this 😀 Anyways, good job! Very inspiring!April 27, 2003 at 10:16 pm #1668
I’d probably have included more stuff if it wasn’t all in real media format. I’m afraid PWWOS fell victim to this, as did most of Bluntman’s more recent efforts.
NB – I realise it’s a bit hypocritical of me to complain having just posted the new promo in the exact same format, but at least my version is hackable with tinra.April 27, 2003 at 10:25 pm #1670
That was very nice. Even better than before. The credits were a great addition.
I, just like anyone else, would love to see a promo with even more films. But it would be sort of like a movie preview that gives away too much of the plot. It should just have enough to leave people wanting more, and Buxton’s promo does a fine job of this.
Perhaps, though, someone could make a film that is less of a promo and more of a showcase for all of the great brickfilms. That might be pretty cool.April 27, 2003 at 11:27 pm #1676
