    where can i find BSOL? or a similar software

    oh and i have a question .. with BSOL can we change the eracing color? ’cause some of my best lego clothings are blue.. so i dont want my lego men to be transparent…

    Strider, never say never. But it’s unlikely to happen soon.

    It’s written in Borland Delphi, and I’m not using any obscure classes (yet), so in theory it would compile in Kylix as well. This means it can run in Linux. However, I’m not going to buy Kylix (yet), and I’m not willing to make BSOL open source. So that will take some time.

    Mac OS X was based on some BSD version (IIRC), so it should be possible to port a Linux app there. But I don’t see that happening in the next few years. Perhaps it’s not so hard to port to Object Pascal, but I don’t own a Mac (again – yet), so I am not going to try this in the next few years.

    As far as I’ve looked into it (which is not very far, I admit), it’s possible, but only for the development of Open Source applications. BSOL is not going to be open source.
