Do not ask here you have to email wandrer2
Having a huge backlog, it may take some time for the program to actually arrive in your inbox. Sorry.
wandrer, will BSOL ever be able to be used by macintosh? Thanks, -Strider
Strider, never say never. But it’s unlikely to happen soon.
It’s written in Borland Delphi, and I’m not using any obscure classes (yet), so in theory it would compile in Kylix as well. This means it can run in Linux. However, I’m not going to buy Kylix (yet), and I’m not willing to make BSOL open source. So that will take some time.
Mac OS X was based on some BSD version (IIRC), so it should be possible to port a Linux app there. But I don’t see that happening in the next few years. Perhaps it’s not so hard to port to Object Pascal, but I don’t own a Mac (again – yet), so I am not going to try this in the next few years.
Can’t you download Kylix for free?

As far as I’ve looked into it (which is not very far, I admit), it’s possible, but only for the development of Open Source applications. BSOL is not going to be open source.
