shnit goes international! The 7th edition of the festival will take place from October 7-11 2009 in Berne, Switzerland and Cologne, Germany.

Wrap up your stunning shorty, your fascinating animation, your heart- warming love-story or simply your most freaky clip and enter the international short film contest „shnit-Open 2009“. A total prize money of CHF 45000 (approx US$ 40’000) is waiting for you!

The international competition shnit-Open 2009 feautres 3 grand jury prizes and 1 audience award. The best German and the best Swiss production will be awarded too. Works of all genres not any longer than 15 min. (excluding credits) are allowed to enter the competition. There is no admission fee.
