Sounds to me like you’re trying a little to hard to fit every single LEGO theme (fan-created and otherwise) into a brickfilm.
I don’t think this would work as a CP. It might work fine as a personal project, but you should be focusing on the story more.
And yes, I build stuff outside of brickfilms. In fact, that’s what I used to do a lot more.January 26, 2008 at 4:48 am #365205
LOTL- I never realy thought about fitting all of the themes in… I was just thinking that steampunk and ApocaLEGO go together and that they would make a good film. The mentioning of Castle is not really my intention now, but a castle made in apocaLEGO style would look awesome, no? As for the story… yes, I am trying to work things out. for now, its a concept, but i will be doing a lot of work on the script.
Twick- No, not three hours… like a 6-8 minute thing. And yes, that would be a good one for Urban defenders.January 26, 2008 at 5:36 am #365210
Well, for only 6-8 minutes, I think that length would fit better for a personal project. For community project, depending on how many want to animate it and the plot, it may have to be longer than 8. But that’s just my estimate. If you’re able to establish this post-apocalyptic world, the antagonist and the objective within the first 2 minutes, come up with a way to have multiple animators animate it (for example, Late For Work-style sequence) to get the characters to their objective and accomplish it, then 6-8 minutes is workable.January 26, 2008 at 6:21 pm #365321
