Since my school is giving me support for my upcoming brickfilm “Romeo and Juliet: The Modern Version”, the idea came to my head. Yes or no?

Well, I just SUGGESTED it. I’m too busy to even conjure up rules and prizes (because of the lagging economy), plus I’m on a deadline to get the film I mentioned above done by New Years.

It’s a good idea. Reminds me of my days in Drama class, having to memorize monologues from Shakespeare and act them out.

Animate a scene from a Shakespearean play. The lines are not to be altered, but the rest is up to the animator. Don’t limit yourself to just one play, since there are plenty to go around (Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, etc.)

If someone is willing to provide the incentive (prize), and if someone can take this idea and develop it into an actual contest, then we have something.
