I was going to keep these horrendous animation tests to myself, but considering I won’t have anything else to show untill I have better equipment, here they are… Still, if you’re expecting a good impression of me, don’t download these. Oh yeah, I know these are poorly compressed. The basic things I know least about brickfilming are compression and sound.

This is my first ever animation. It was filmed under poor lighting conditions (and no experience.) When I realized that some great brickfilmers’ first animations consisted of just a minifig sliding around and such, I felt a bit better.

I’m very unhappy about this one. (Why am I even posting this? 😕 ) It was a satisfying little clip with decent animation and picture quality… untill I had to convert it to jpeg and back for Axogon Composer. Now it has ridiculously bad picture quality. Think Legocam. (Or worse, but I sure hope not.)

Well, although I’ve basically told you by now that these are not worth downloading, I hope someone will. Reviews would be good, tips on picture quality, lighting, compression, etc. would be great. There isn’t much too review though, I know they’re bad. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Looking back now, I couldn’t possibly chosen a worse time to expect people to review these, with all the HAT entries coming in. 😆

Well, I found time to review your tests :wink
Hm, the animations are not bad. I had more problems with the walk cycle at the beginning. Okay, the picture quality is a bit blurred, but lightning conditions are Ok, not too bright. Hm, well, but it’s not more than a test, the end of the magic show, well was more something to make it an end, but that’s not the point of an test.

I liked lukeattack better, hm, good animations. Well the way he fell at the beginning, was hm, a bit slow. And I saw that you changed the set for the shot with luke only.

    Not more to say.
