I know that you’ve already gotten it set up,
but hear me out.
I’ve noticed that “General” is getting kind of cluttered…
Could we possibly have, say, and “Projects” section,
in which people would announce a film they are going to start,
and be able to ask for help with voice acting, sound effects, etc?June 13, 2003 at 8:53 pm #5168
Sounds like a good idea to me. This way every third person doesnt whine about a topic not having anything to do with brickfilming even if some people are enjoying a decent conversation.June 13, 2003 at 9:00 pm #5170
I didn’t say we needed a Basement.
I said a “Projects” section would be nice.
I assumed the off-topic stuff would be carried to the chatroom,
or to private e-mails…
A Basement would be nice… But this is a family-friendly board.June 13, 2003 at 9:36 pm #5174
I was thinking of breaking up General into two sections, one for general brickfilms related conversation and one for just general conversation. That should help a little. Don’t know when I’ll get around to it, maybe tonight.
I’m also going to add a forum dedicated to contests and one dedicated to the new community project which we’ll be launching in the near future. both of those won’t be for a little while, though.June 13, 2003 at 10:13 pm #5177
I admit I dont know what a “Basement” is. I would assume its a board for just the crap threads. I meant the threads that are legitmate even if they have morphed into a conversation, about say, video games. A “General Discussion” about anything in general would be nice though.June 13, 2003 at 10:37 pm #5178
The Basement is a forum at Red Vs. Blue.
It’s for anything that doesn’t require intelligence.
As long as you read the FAQ. Don’t read the FAQ,
and your threads get deleted.
That said, Red Vs. Blue is easily the funniest thing.
In my opinion, NOTHING COMES CLOSE to RvB.
I’m not providing a link, as it’s not a family-friendly site,
and this is.
But if you want to get there… It shouldn’t be too hard.June 13, 2003 at 10:42 pm #5179
hmm I really outta check it out. I have seen references on other family friendly sites to this. Pretty much just people saying “Blue is better” in the subject line and then a reply saying “Red is better” or something like thatJune 13, 2003 at 11:06 pm #5181
Oh no. It’s much funnier than that. It’s a site set up by people who have mastered the art of creating video from video game demo recordings. Very, very funny.June 14, 2003 at 2:26 am #5192
probly already know, but the avatars are all different sizes. I think it looked better when they were all one size.June 14, 2003 at 3:55 pm #5215
