Go to the stopmotionpro website and look at the features. More than 1 layer of onion skinning, rotoscope, and now frame averaging. Those three are well worth $190 I think (or $100 if you’re a student).

Well dude…. 😀 can you explain to me exactly how each of the things you talked about would help my animation???

    P.S.
If im a student??? does 6-10th grade count?

Onion skinnning-great to make sure certain objects don’t move, or if you bump the camera, you should be able to align the camera back up correctly. It can also help if you want to move the camera. Just focus on something in the scene and move the camera a little bit every time. Onion skinning will help.

Rotoscope-A GREAT function if you want to recreate human characteristics. You want to have a slow walk? Film yourself walking at the right speed, dump it in, and then have your fig follow your steps.

Frame averaging-gives you a crystal clear picture. It can even make the Legocam useful. Want to film in the dark? Go ahead! The noise aspect of filming in the dark will be virtually cut out.

And yes, for most places, all you need to do is prove that you are a student (grade school, high school, or college) and then you get a special price. You can get Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator for $500 at some student discount places. Just make sure you don’t use them for commercial purposes.

You don’t have to tell me. 😉 I think I may ask for some cash to get this thing a few weeks early, because I really need that frame averager. And the audio sync would be very good too,
