Well Fishbowlbob, I think that I can help. I used to have HeliumFrog on my old computer, about 4 years ago. It was a Windows Vista. Helium Frog worked just fine on it. Later I got a Windows 8 computer. I tried to download it, but It did not work. So I looked it up, and Helium Frog actually is not meant for Windows 8. So, if you are trying to get it on a Windows 8, that is your problem. If you are using a Mac or a Windows 7, I have not clue what is wrong. Well, this is what I have to say, hope it helps. Oh, by the way, if you need another free frame capture software, try Monkey Jam. If you want to spend a little $, try StopMotionPro or DragonFrame.

Qik Photo Animator is designed for Windows 8 and is only a few $$. Supports HD cameras.

Ya, I’m running a windows 8, that must be my problem. but I tried to install it on my Windows Xp, and when i tried running it it keeps asking me to select a directX mode. But there’s nothing there on the menu. If you understand what I just said there. I think I might just try to get stop-motion pro.
    Thanks!

Hi Fishbowlbob, have you tried to set the compatibility of the software to windows 7?
I think these links would help:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-PH/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

Yes Anna, I did try that, and I still get the same error. I think I might just buy a software, since none of the free ones seem to be working for me.
    Thanks for the help!
