I talked to TAAB and we both think that contests are an integral part of brickfilms and is a thing we would like to have in the future. But there are many open questions, about prices, how often, what is official what is not official, what is the goal …
also Stevie and I though about a hall of fame for the contest winners, something like that.
So I opened this forum for and open discussion and brainstorming about contests in general, so please post what you like what you don´t like what you want to have all these things and start talking about this.
Also if we get a budget for prices we should have something like guidelines how to use them, things like that.

OK, at the moment, we have decided one of the prizes in the prize poll, that is The Café Corner.
We need two more prizes and our budget is $75, so we have $75 to spend on two more prizes.
I would like everyone in here to participate in requesting ideas.

Well, you don’t have to buy them now. First we must decide them. I think that it’s great having a LEGO store near you. But I think we could try to get a prize stop-motion related as well as LEGO related.
So, I think that we could have two LEGO prizes, The Café Corner and the other small one that will be bought, and hopefully get Stop Motion pro, which Revmen usually gets off Paul of Stop Motion Pro, and I think gets it at a discount prize. I’ll wait to hear from Cindy or Revmen about Stop Motion Pro.

Sure, I just wanted to point out that I maybe able to get a certain lego price cheaper that usual. Im not going to run into the shop and buy prices like crazy, that are outdated in 6month… actually a cool idea for a one minute clip: “administrators go frenzy!”

Hehe, well if you can get it that’s good. I don’t know if the Café Corner has been paid for, I’ll ask Schlaeps or taab, i think one of them bought it.

OK, guys. I have made an extension to FAR (now it’s June 30th), and I want everyone to participate in brainstorming for the next two prizes.
Everyone of the Contests usergroup please reply with ideas, we’ll try to get a brickfilming prize not related to LEGO and a smaller LEGO related prize.

OK, we now have some junior contest organizers for FAR.
So, we REALLY need to come up with ideas for two prizes.
It would be best if we had the prizes decided by June 10th, that way we would be able to announce the prizes before the contest is actually finished…

Indiana Jones LEGO is very popular now-a-days.
So, I think we should decide on an Indiana Jones set, but it may not be that one, we’ll brainstorm.

We don’t have to have one non-lego related, but we could try get something that isn’t lego and is still for brickfilming.
I don’t know, i think an Indiana Jones sorts out one of the prizes, we could do another LEGO one, but we don’t have to.
Though it would be hard to get something cheap enough that isn’t LEGO, so i think it’ll be a lot of Lego prizes.
