This thread is mostly so I can find this code when I need it:
Copy the following code block into every webpage you want to track.
Click in the box below to select all code. Copy and paste the code segment into the bottom of your content, immediately before the tag of each page you are planning to track. If you use a common include or template, you can enter it there.

OK, I tried to add this to the forums but I quickly realized I was in over my head. Would one of you kind gentlemens add this code to the forums?
Also, I’d like to remove google ads completely from the forums. Schlaeps pulled them from the index page for me but they still show up in the viewtopic and viewforum pages. Predictably, the ads in the forums generated almost no revenue so it’s not worth keeping them there because all they do is annoy people.

I’ve removed it from those two pages.
Do you still want analytics on the forum pages? You just go into /public_html/phpBB2/templates/brickfilms/ and then you’ll see a list of all the forum files. The ones you’ll want to edit are “index_body.tpl”, “viewforum_body.tpl”, and “viewtopic_body.tpl”.
Just put the code at the bottom. Before it was between the and the
tags, but I doubt that makes a difference.
