My personal feeling is that in voting for story, people weren’t taking “adventurousness” into account very much. I thought that Lost and The Eye of Aphrodite should have fared better in this category.

I agree. Lost was very impressive, a true adventure. Perhaps a fourth category of judgement based solely on theme would make a difference in future competitions.

Thanks, rev. :) Mot, they love you.

BUMP.
You know, the only people that seem to have their films nominated are the much older guys. Why can’t we teenagers have a chance too?
And also, the events area needs to be changed now that the contest is over.

I’m pretty sure Leftfield is mostly teenagers.

And also, the events area needs to be changed now that the contest is over.

Indeed.

Hey, now I’m not that old!
I’m pretty sure 16 counts as a teenager, and I was nominated :)

1: See Ladon’s response. Next time check your facts :)

2: Yeah I agree, let’s just let everyone in and give everyone a prize and a hug! Because then we’ll all feel better about ourselves and not have to improve or anything.

I’m pretty sure Leftfield is mostly teenagers.

It’s taken me a long time to get a decent understanding of how they’re organized, but I think most of them are 20 or over.

Tha can’t be, because Leftfielder just left for college (I think), and its my understanding that the rest of them aren’t in college yet, most likely making them highschoolers.

Leftfielder is one of the younger ones, I believe. It’d be nice if we got some authoritative confirmation on all this.

We teenagers do have a chance, but apperantly there just aren’t a whole lot of teenagers that make really fantastic films.

Saying we’re organized might be something of an overstatement :wink but yes, of the 3 of us who do almost all the work, Dewayne_leftfield is 20, I’m 18, and Elvis-leftfield is 17. I hope this clears things up a bit.
