I need to know how this green screen works and what program is best to use? I really want a free program.

1.paint.net: if you don’t mind the grueling work of greenscreening frame by frame this program is a few steps above your regular paint program and one step below photoshop: http://paint.net/
2.wax 2.0: is a video editing program, it is not “dedicated” just to greenscreening but it has that feature (and many other features): http://download.cnet.com/DebugMode-Wax/ … 13349.html

You can also use iKITmovie and fluidmask!
iKITmovie is a full video, sound, and effects program just for stop animation. I read a lot about it and it seems really cool.
Fluidmask is a program that allows you to remove parts of an image so only the image left will show and you can have a backgound image show through what was taken off. This program is great for Brickfilms.
