i dont know if you know this or not but if your in another part of the site..
Like say the directors project portion
(That same portion that i had to take a machete into just to get past the spider webs of neglect)
when you click on the link to get to the forums it still takes you to the old forums…
Have you just forgotten about changeing those links over or have you just not gotten around to that yet???
(i dont mean to bother you i just wanted to see if you knew bout it or not…)
i dont even think ppl go there anymore anyways…..
its like an egyptian tomb or something…it gives me the willies…July 30, 2003 at 5:47 am #10110
I’ve not put hardly any effort into the old site, as I plan on replacing it very soon.
Indy updated the contacts page for me, and I think I changed out the logo on the front page, but that’s pretty much it. I’ve been focusing almost all of my efforts on the new site.
On the new site, not only will the links on all the pages lead to the correct forums, but all of the pages will tell you if there are any new posts in the forums or if you have any new messages.July 30, 2003 at 10:14 am #10115
indeed, not alot of point to updating the old and (by comparison to the new site) ugly, UGLY boring, static, dull main site, as the new, pretty PRETTY, clean, lively, exciting, shiny, slick, superduper NEW brickfilms.com is on it’s way to us very soon…
it’s oh so slick 8)
and you mear mortals have to wait for it 😛

No, the reason we did that before was because we were changing servers with different IP addresses, and we needed to give the IP changes a chance to propagate through the DNS servers.
When the time comes, I’ll just replace all of the files that make up the current website with the new ones, and that’ll be that. The forum won’t be affected at all.
Well, theoretically…August 1, 2003 at 3:52 am #10243August 3, 2003 at 11:08 pm #10473
