What are the main programs you use, Yolegoman?

hehe, they are all free, and the same ones I used to make Bricks of Doom:

Wmm 2 (Or 1, depending on your OS) @ Microsoft.com

    Videomach, free, available @ Gromada.com

    BSOL, by Wanderer.

And for animating, I use the software that came with my cam, but you can always use Sma (I’m sure you already have that).

Thats about it, you probably still need a good image editor, but its not mandatory. :wink

    Hope that helps!

Go to academic stores. For $500, you can either get the commercial licensed version of Premiere, or the student version of Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator. Which deal would you prefer? :wink

Sadly, I think our poor Yolegoman doesn’t apply to this deal, as I’m not sure if home schooling counts. But if you can prove it, you might qualify.

Well I got Photshop, After Effects and Premiere for very cheap from one of my favorite places..

http://www.ebay.com Have we forgotten about this happy place?

lets see Premiere cost me about 150$
    Photoshop/aftereffects I got a special deal for 250$!

Of course some came with manuals some with out. But hey Take what you can. 😉

Also I heard that (Ka***a) is now illegal and full of viruses. Luckily I don’t belive in internet piracy.

as for your finacial problem Try the following.

    1. Mowing Lawns: Gives you exercise, and you can make your own wager.

    2. lemonade stand: Ok so nowadays you have to get a permit to do it, But hey money is money.

    3. walking the neighbor dogs: more exercise and again charge your price.

    4. Babysitting: I heard now you can babysit kids for about 20$ an hour!

    5. The Newspaper: yes it’s amazing there ARE things in the newspapers that aren’t cartoons. Look in the help wanted section, and see if you get lucky.

6.Collecting change off the ground: This is what I like to do during school, I collect about 1 dollar in change a week.

there ya go. 6 ideas for you, enjoy.

Well I already have a job, I work in the morning for about 3 hours than goto school. pretty good paying job. Payroll if anyone wanted to know.

Ahh, for those non ebay users, we have half.com, a huge online yard sale!

    I found Adobe Premiere 5.0 for 60 dollars + shipping and adobe 6.0 for 110 $!

    http://half.ebay.com/search/search.jsp?nthTime=1&product=computers&query=Adobe+Premiere&page=1

I still don’t think I will get it myself though. Wmm works fine for me!

so yolegoman, you are homeschooled? why is that? you will need the social interaction skills in rl. BTW premiere is one of the only ways of adding sound if you have XP. ddclip don’t work.

Yolegoman, I have all the software you mentioned (except BSL). How do you get your SMA clips into WMM? If you use WMM to make your movies what do you use Video Mach for?

flash….im not allowed to do any of the things you listed aside from the change picking. You can use vid.mach. when you need to…its good for compressing files. Ferder….not to be rude but have you ever used sma?
seems not…you click done to finish animation…and figure out what you want to call it and where you want to save it (then save it). Then import the file into wmm and add it to the storyboard…its quite simple really..

Actually I downloaded SMA just a few weaks ago. I already know about how to save the clips and all that, but importing them into WMM seems to be a bit awkward since every time I import a clip it becomes its own collection, then I have to move the clip into my main collection then delete the new collection. There has to be a faster way to do this.
