Hi! I’m new here, and I want to say hi to all the brickfilmers out there! Well, enough chatting, on to the main attraction!
Click below to visit my site and watch my LEGO films.
I have 6 short movies, and 2 tests. Please post comments, I would love to know what you guys think.
Yes, I was the first! 😛
Anyway, I’m checking out your stuff now.
EDIT: Well, not too bad. You really should try to get a new camera, if at all possible. There’s a lot of noise in the image. And please try to get more resolution, they’re quite small. And I also suggest try different rendering methods (use something other than .mpg, like divx avi or sorenson .mov). 4+ mb for a 50 second file at that small a resolution is a bit excessive.
For the comedy ones, ie dancing ones: Quite funny, and very good lighting techniques. It really did look like a strobe light, and the red and blue lighting were very good. I loved the Stayin Alive parody; nice to see some LEGO disco. :wink
Your Spiderman action piece was pretty good. Not too bad of a frame rate, and some good jumping and such.
And your water technique in your “tips and tricks” section is very clever. Good idea!
yes, that water trick is very clever. I should try that the next time I need it.
Your films are good for a start. I would get a new camera, like the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. The retail price is $89.99 or something like that, and you can probably find it on Ebay for much, much less.
