What I was thinking of was actually a gay accent mostly, he could easily be metro or camp or what ever you want to call it. But you’re probably right, it’s probably best not to. |

Glad you agree, Doc. Now let’s drop that subject, Ok? My parents might have a little problem with it. |

…So don’t tell them? And Doc, I was expecting something a little more…well thought out after having to wait so long, but that will do. When will you have read the rest? |

Doc, we’re all busy. I have a ton of crap going on right now, but I still find time to do LMP stuff. All the writers are doing their share, so why is it that the producer gets to lag behind? To me, it’s inexcusable that you haven’t read the script yet, and the most well-thought out response you have to it is “the king should be gay.” And speaking of that, Squash summed up my thoughts on the suggestion quite well. Especially if we have Josh mock the king. I wouldn’t want to influence childrens’ opinions on homosexuality or anything by adding gay jokes (I don’t have a problem with homosexuality, by the way). |

You don’t know what I’ve been doing. I’ve got my 18th tomorrow and we’re going away AND it’s my last year of school so when I say I’ve got school I mean I’ve really got school. And take some pride in yourselves that I didn’t have much to say, I loved the script! |

That was sarcasm, right Badger? Anyways, I know high school is hard, Doc. I just started, and already my schoolwork has doubled(I’m home schooled, BTW). Though on the next review, do come up with better suggestions than that one that you should be ashamed of wanting to put in a kids movie. But don’t worry, I’m not gonna judge you over that(I’m not the type), I still see you as The Doc, a fellow brickfilmer :wink . |

No, it probably was his most well-thought out suggestion. Not that I think it was a good suggestion, but it was probably his best one, if you understand what I’m saying. No offense Doc, I’m just truly disappointed that this is the best you’ve come up with. |

If i may interveine (if i spelled that correctly) Gay jokes wont influence homosexuality as long as you put maybe a content warning. Also it probably depends on the extent of gay jokes such as the king saying “Hay!” instead of “Hey” and the more extent joke such as bruno, having gay woohoo. :what?: |

Badger, I appointed you to write the script not me. It is my job to make suggestions for changes. You did you job well, thus there are few suggestions. Lack of suggestions from me is not a bad thing. I wanted you to write the script, I got what I asked for. We are unanimous on the gay king idea. It shall not go. I will read through the rest when I get back, I leave tomorrow. |

Don’t intervene. You’re 13. You are way too young to know what gay jokes are. I don’t even know many them(as in, almost zilch) and I’m 15 1/2. Even if we did put in a warning, no responsible parent would let there kid watch a movie with gay jokes of any kind. It would destroy the rated G goal. Like Doc said, we are not going to have any, so now, let’s just let it drop. |

To clarify, I’m not worried about it influencing people becoming gay, I would be worried that it influences young children’s opinions on homosexuals.
Fair enough. My main concern is that it seems like you’re not dedicated enough to this project, but I’ll take your word for it.
I don’t know, I’ve been exposed to homosexual jokes for a good few years (I’m 15 as well). They’re pretty abundant in America, I don’t know what country you’re from.
This has nothing to do with the film (I guess most of this post is irrelevant), but unfortunately most parent’s wouldn’t let their kids see the film because it has a gay character, not because the film would be making fun of homosexuals (that is, if we’re actually following through with making the king gay, which I pray to God we’re not). Anyway, I don’t want to cut off discussion regarding making the king gay, because I like having everybody’s thoughts on the table (even though I can tell you right now I don’t want it to happen, but I still want to listen to your thoughts). |

I’m also American. Texan, to be precise. Fortunately, I have mostly been around people who have an actual sense of humor and morality. No offense intended, badger.
You misunderstand me. I didn’t mean they wouldn’t let their kid see it because it made fun of gays, but, like you said, it has a gay character. |
