I know, I know. Please understand that I’m busy though, I’ll try and get at least part one reviewed today

So I’ve reviewed part uno and here’s what I have to say about it…

    PAGE 4:

“Josh rolls over to look at his assailant…
It’s his MOTHER… long gray hair, glasses, and cruel. She
    glares down at him.”

I don’t believe she should be wearing glasses, from what I understand so far (I’m only on page four lol) this is a poverty stricken family living in a medevil-fantasy period. I doubt people such as they would own a pair of glasses, unless I’m missing something…

    PAGE 5:

“Josh, lying in bed, is awoken by the sound of a ROOSTER’S
    CROWING.”

I can’t help but imagin something humorous being added here, like a repeating gag where Josh wakes up in some humorous fashion in response to the rude awakening by the rooster, or have someone throw an object at the rooster through a window and another morning maybe he could catch it and throw it back :-P

    PAGE 14:

With Josh and the soldier’s constant “You’ll find out”, I reckon this should be extended so it continues in a comical fashion as the soldier takes Josh away.

    PAGE 15:

Can we make the King gay(ish) do you reckon? :-P
Josh could also jokingly mock the king’s gayness by sarcastically mimicking the way he talks

    PAGE 18:

Dash should slap Josh on the back with “That’s the spirit, kid!”

I really like Dash, I keep envisioning Lord Flash Heart from the Black Adder BBC series and I think he should be modeled off him just without the inuendoes :P

hmm, i think we shouldn’t. i think there are enough movies where the king is commical, i think he should be the serious one… imo.

Which meaning so you mean? If you mean happy and care-free, then yeah. If the other meaning…Heck NO :x .

I def agree with brickLord, i think it would be more enjoyable to not have that added to it.

Remember, Doc, we are targeting young kids! That would really hurt the movie even if we were aiming for older kids. My parents wouldn’t allow me to help with this project if we did that.

Hmm, I thought in his current form he was quite jovial. If you meant homosexual- while I don’t mind having a character in a film that is homosexual, I don’t know if we should do anything that would draw attention away from what the King is saying at this point, as it’s quite important to the rest of the film. Especially so if there is no real purpose behind it, or it doesn’t add to the story.
I’m not comfortable peddling gay stereotypes as well, and I don’t know for certain, but some may find this type of thing offensive to their culture. I really think we would be best avoiding the idea.

A LOT of people, not just a few.
