This is my first LEGO movie (bear this in mind) It is around 3min8sec and is in quicktime. I know some of the guards lines are not in yet. If anyone knows where to get the 2 lines (“Backup, we need backup”, and “FREEZE!”) I would appreciate it.

*turns Weirdears mode on

You can’t use that FOX music at the beginning because it is Copy Righted.

I’m being stupid.

I really liked it. :o The fact that the matrix in lego is pretty cool. But you might want them to move a little smoother. :)

well, you need to take more care in editing your audio track – the sound was completely missing in some parts, I’m not just talking about the missing dialouge you mentioned, but ANY sound…. it just went silent.

you also need to ramp up the framerate in which you film, it takes more effort, but you’re movies will look better for it, and smoother – which is waht you really need for this scene – nice smooth and fluid.

your sets however, were very nice ( I would have liked to see some trans red lights on the metal detector though) the lobby was very well done, simple, clean, got the point across very well (just wish I had that many grey bricks) – the shooting out of the colums was a nice touch, and good attention to detail.

…..

with the new matrix movie being released next month, I’ve been expecting (another) flood of “matrix tests” (it was almost a pandemic around here a year or so back) – and to be honest, I’n not dreading it asmuch as I thought I would – originality suffers ALOT when this kind of thing happens (SOOOO tired of bullet time tests- I won’t even watch them anymore) – but it does encourage people to try techniuques they would otherwise shy away from, or try to emulate more complex scenes or situations – good practice I guess – but I’m sure I’ll be well sick of them again in about two months.

First of all the frame rate was bad. Was it 5fps? Please make it 15 fps. Also, the lighting was too dark.Betta luck with the gods next time

overall rating 6/10

animation- HORRIBLE, work with 12 -15 fps

Lighting- It matched the lighting in the Matrix

Sets- I liked the hall way part and the virtual gun scene

Audio- it was choppy and could be improved

BTW
hey, I need a GIF, are you related to Yolegoman?
