with the new matrix movie being released next month, I’ve been expecting (another) flood of “matrix tests” (it was almost a pandemic around here a year or so back) – and to be honest, I’n not dreading it asmuch as I thought I would – originality suffers ALOT when this kind of thing happens (SOOOO tired of bullet time tests- I won’t even watch them anymore) – but it does encourage people to try techniuques they would otherwise shy away from, or try to emulate more complex scenes or situations – good practice I guess – but I’m sure I’ll be well sick of them again in about two months.

He He He…

I know lots of guys will try “The Twins” tests. How they just turn invisible the moment b4 something hits em.Amazing.I wish I could do that. 8)
I liked the Vitural Gun Scene. The 2 flaws I saw was that Trinity,in the trailer, just said “No one has ever done anything like this.” And Neo said his line with determination.

funnily enough, i just watched the new matrix trailer before seeing this. I can’t think of much else to say that everyone else hasn’t mentioned, but i really liked the columns being shot out, and the sets were really good. :-D

The one thing I would say with the sets is to be careful how much you reveal in the shot, i think in one shot you can see the top of the columns which slightly ruins the illusion, but the sets look cool, and its nice to see a Matrix type movie, that actually is based on the Matrix. :-D

I never put the WW2 movie on BrickFilms, and Ive taken it off BrickShelf. Mainly because I didn’t like it, but also because I didn’t want to take up too much room on my account, since my next movie is already quite large and im no where near finished. 8-)
