Looking back at that thread, I am actually impressed by the level of restraint The Doctor showed in response to some rather insulting statements. He didn’t attack anyone or call them names — if it had been me at whom those asinine statements were directed, there’d've been a lot more of a response than just emoticons and web SHOUTS.
Personally, I’d rather worry about members treating each other with respect and friendliness than moderating against smileys and grammatic orthography.

EDIT: I’ve changed some of my plans because they do seem a little extreme and most everyone is disagreeing with them. I’m now basing my plans for the forums on what you want them to be rather than cleaning it up. Because it’s “clean” enough already.

I do plan on doing some cleaning, but honestly not that much is really needed and I thought it just didn’t need to be given that much attention. I have left it in, but not as first on my list.

Once again, you’re avoiding my point. Yes, we all do it at some point of time. You do it quite often. Also, as I said, I’m not the one who is running for Minister of Discussion.
What I said was in no way offensive. No slander was involved, no lies were involved, no profanity was involved. I was simply stating a valid factor which you may run into problems with.
