    ______________________________________________________________________________

    Hello fellow Brickfilmers.

I’ve been a member of these forums for well over a year now and noticing that a Minister of Discussion was needed, I’m now running of the ministry.

I’ll start with my abilities which are suggested for this position on the elections page.

    Senior Member
I’ve been a member for over a year, and (almost, as in, the regulars) everyone know me so, I think that qualifies as Senior.

    Leadership Experience
Yes, I have Leadership exp obtained from various places in my life and I’m one of nine so it also kinda comes naturally.

    Good Communication Skills
On numerous occasions I have been called upon for my communication skills, outside brickfilms.com of course, and I have always said to people when rejecting films to PM me with any questions. So I’m not afraid of a loaded inbox.

    Flexible
To be any more flexible, I’d have to eat rubber every day…nvm. Yes I’m flexible and I welcome outside input. (outside, input 😕 )

How much time would I be able to spend performing my duties?
Quite alot really, I’m home schooled and finish by midday so I have more than enough time to put towards the ministry.

What are my ideas to expand or improve the Ministry?
Nothing really needs to be changed, I like it the way it is and I know you all do to. My plans are more to improve rather than change (kinda the same thing, I know)

The various “How to” threads we have seen, I would try and gather all these and work with the Minister of Truth to get them into the Wiki so we can have all your tutorials in one spot.

And just basic cleaning up the place, cracking down on cyber-bullying is what needs the most attention in this area (not that much happens here anyway but it does happen). As MoD, I would have (and do now) zero tolerance towards cyber-bullying after a warning to the offender has been issued.

Like I said, I’m flexible so if you can think of any problems in this area you would like to see dealt with, feel free to post here and I’ll come up with something.

What unique character qualities would I be able to contribute to the Ministry?
Patience, Honesty, Loyalty and Respect for my fellow brickfilmers, Noobs (if you’ll excuse the term) and Regulars alike.

What is my motivation for running?
I don’t want to see this community die, not “Go out with a bang” I don’t want it to go out at all.

If you have any ideas/suggestions/doubtful points, please feel free to share them an I’ll get back to you.

–The Doctor for Minister of Discussion, because I don’t want this place to die.

Personally I don’t see why anyone would vote for you. All you do is spam threads with pointless posts and comments.

I do plan on doing some cleaning, but honestly not that much is really needed and I thought it just didn’t need to be given that much attention. I have left it in, but not as first on my list.

    What RP said.
You’re going to clean up brickfilms, but its already clean? I think you lost me.

-Leo, who’s lost, trying to find his way. It’s scary to be lost. :)

Even if you’re changing your plans for what most see as the good. I would like a leader who stands by his judgements.

I hope you’ve matured since way back then, but all that is still pretty fresh in my memory.

It’s been more than a few months, and yes I have matured. (somewhat)

    Thank you.

EDIT: I’ve changed some of my plans because they do seem a little extreme and most everyone is disagreeing with them. I’m now basing my plans for the forums on what you want them to be rather than cleaning it up. Because it’s “clean” enough already.

Looking back at that thread, I am actually impressed by the level of restraint The Doctor showed in response to some rather insulting statements. He didn’t attack anyone or call them names — if it had been me at whom those asinine statements were directed, there’d’ve been a lot more of a response than just emoticons and web SHOUTS.

Personally, I’d rather worry about members treating each other with respect and friendliness than moderating against smileys and grammatic orthography.

    your making me angry :evil
and thats not a good thing :evil

You showed us that you can turn the background pure white, but now try to key out this white. Any glare will get keyed out also.

THIS IS A CHEAP, NOT BETTER, CHEAP! ALTERNATIVE TO BLUE OR GREEN SCREENING!!!!! I TRYED TO HELP SOMEONE BY OFFERING MY PERSONAL EXPERIANCE AND YOU ALL TURNED ON ME!

    WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Four reasons I’m not voting for you.

I hate to dig up the distant past, doc, but it’s going to take more than a few months for us to forget all that. You’re not exactly helping yourself win this election. Tons of angry emoticons and all caps are not a good thing. That’s what we’re moderating against.

    We are both correct.

I’m glad to see I have some support.

Also, some people seem to think that I think I’m unable to do the job because I had a Vice Minister advertised.

    THIS IS A LIE!

As previously said, I am Australian and thus am in a different time zone to most of you.
