I think it’s important to have a couple of mods to be able to make sure chat or the forums don’t get unruly if I’m not online. However, I don’t want a ton of mods running around as it could get kinda jumbled up. With all the confusion over people leaving, I’m still not sure who has mod powers and who doesn’t. I’d personally ask those who already have their mod powers if they have any interest in remaining mods here and if they don’t, I can replace them as needed. (Or if I feel they don’t deserve their mod powers, I can take it away and replace them as needed).
Stevie also talked to me about the possibility of having a Vice MoD, which I am still undecided about.

On another note, if elected Minister of Discussion, I’d like to see some “chat events” happening every so often where people can go into chat and discuss some brickfilm-related stuff. Maybe discussing the current feature film, or even having the director of the featured film share some insight into his movie.

After some careful thought, I’ve decided that if I were to be elected Minister of Discussion, I will have StevieCollins as my “Vice-MoD.” At first, I wasn’t totally sold on the idea of a Vice-MoD, but Stevie seems like a very useful partner. Basically, he will help monitor the special forums that a moderator might not normally look at. Also, he’ll help out with new ideas and such.

Secondly, I would like to expand upon the FAQ forum, turning it into a starting spot for new members. A PM would be sent out when someone registers, encouraging them to visit this forum. Inside will be the old FAQ threads already in place, but also some newer posts and threads with useful brickfilm-related topics. Hopefully this way the questions that get asked over 9,000 times will get cut down and we won’t have to answer them over and over again.
