    But wouldn’t be ideal to ask the creator of the film first before you copy a scene from it?

    No one is disagreeing with you Droid and I don’t think you need to ask the creator

    1. Because your not using any of their footage.
    2. It won’t be exactly the same.

    However if you want to use their audio you may have to ask.
