Counter Reason And Resultant Action
Bertl PM’d me and disagreed with the locking. He thought that the thread should still be there to discuss BiM status. He suggested that the thread be split.
I agreed with this, since I only wished to lock to prevent a flame war. So I split the thread, and moved the more scandalous parts to this thread:

Reason: The thread was becoming a place for criticism of the Doctor, I did not wish this to disturb the purpose of the topic (BIM’s outage). I know some of you may not agree with my decision, but I can’t stand seeing an entire thread fouled up for some people to say they dislike The Doctor again.

As much as I’d like to say I did that to help you, I didn’t. I did it to clean up the thread. I can’t act if they start PMing you, and I’m not saying you haven’t made mistakes. Just learn to move on. Sometimes it’s best not to say anything, or to quote Mark Twain,
It is often better to keep one’s mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
Just try to hold back when they say illogical or hateful remarks next time. They should be gone as soon as Schlaeps fixes the server or whatever anyway.

I don’t think it was the best idea, but don’t go back on your choice. We don’t need more flip-flopping.
On second thought, there was an almost similar thread. If I were you, I’d edit your post to include a link to the other thread, which was made by badgerboy.
