Can somebody tell me how to extract the audio from a Quicktime movie?
It doesn’t make a difference if the final product will be mp3 or wav.
Here’s one way:
MOV to AVI
AVI to WAV/MP3
If you are using Qt Pro, you can just do an export from .MOV to .WAV or .MOV to .AIF… this will strip out just the audio track. Youll need another tool to convert .WAV to .MP3
I can’t speak for older versions, but my QT6 Pro (on my Mac) will export the audio track directly into MP3 format. I don’t know what options there are for customizing quality, tags and such, though.
hmm. direct export to MP3!
since I upgraded to Qt6, I havent messed around to see what new features were available. but that one is very good news!
can somebody tell me how to fit the audio right? All I get is hummin’ and squeakin’…(i used RAD Tool)
