This song is entitled “We sail the ocean blue”, and I have not gotten around to doing the Buttercup scene yet. In case nobody knows what the heck this is, it is the opening scene from a Gilbert and Sullivan play called “HMS Pinafore”. It is about a sailor (also known as a tar) who loved a “lass above his station”. Enjoy!

So you are going to do the whole play, Strider?
I’m not sure if there are many people with an attention span for a entire LEGO musical.
My suggestions would be to do kinda what they did on the LEGO website with Montey Pithon and have their mouths move or something. I would also really reccomend that you film at a higher framerate. (if your software doens’t let you change the framerate then perhaps you should download Stop Motion Animater).
Your idea and ship looks interesting but I think your movie would benefit with the suggestions above (espcialy the second one since smooth animation is improtant, but most people don’t the the moving-mouth thing)

Can you tell me more about stopmotion animator? Is it for mac for one. (And how much) Yes, I am planning to eventually do the whole shabang with one song or two per movie, delete the first ones, and keep using brickshelf. Yeah, any help with that program would be great. Thanks!

go to the FAQ part of this site. It should tell about SMA. I’m not sure if it works on macs though.

thats a good idea. I just found out that SMA doesn’t work on Macs but there is a Mac program called “BTV” that is soposed to be able to do stop-mo animation.
