This is my first film, called the man with the cane. It’s barely a minute, so I can’t make much of a teaser. I’ll just say that the thing that I’m ashamed of the most is the lighting. Here’s the link: http://brickshelf.com/gallery/smallscalestudios/brickfilms/manwithcane.wmv Enjoy, I hope. oh yeah, turn up your sound. The only sound is music, and it’s kinda soft. |

hey, good point! It never registered in my mind as a music video. How do I enter? and yes, that was a drawback. I was trying to have the trees move instead of the car, but I forgot to make the wheels moving. |

Nice. Definitely above average for a first film, especially in the animation itself. It was pretty smooth. I also liked the camera angles a lot. I also liked the use of the Beethoven music. The other think I liked a lot: I could tell what was going on. Most short, silent brickfilms are quite confusing to me, either because the animation is so bad, the camera is going all over the place, or it is just a poorly planned film. But this one was very easy to understand. Good job. I look forward to more of your films. |

Very good for a first film! The animation was nice, and I have never seen a brickfilm with snow before, so this movie stands out to me. (I know there are other brickfilms with snow, like ACCIB, that’s too big for my dial-up Tom |

Only one thing would’ve made it better. If the wheels on the car were turning while he was driving, it would have been perfect. Excellent work. |

You are off to a great start. You know how to animate and tell a story: the two basics. you also had great set design and music! |
