This is my first film, called the man with the cane. It’s barely a minute, so I can’t make much of a teaser. I’ll just say that the thing that I’m ashamed of the most is the lighting.
Here’s the link:
Enjoy, I hope.
oh yeah, turn up your sound. The only sound is music, and it’s kinda soft.May 29, 2003 at 2:31 am #3877
That was great!
Simple, yet elegant!
The snow and trees were great- the animation was good and I thought the lighting was fine. The best part for me was the camera angles- well done!
Criticism? The wheels didn’t turn when the car was moving.
An outstanding first effort!
Are you gonna enter it in the Brickfest Music Video Contest?May 29, 2003 at 2:38 am #3879

Nice. Definitely above average for a first film, especially in the animation itself. It was pretty smooth. I also liked the camera angles a lot. I also liked the use of the Beethoven music.
The other think I liked a lot: I could tell what was going on. Most short, silent brickfilms are quite confusing to me, either because the animation is so bad, the camera is going all over the place, or it is just a poorly planned film. But this one was very easy to understand.
Good job. I look forward to more of your films.May 29, 2003 at 11:48 am #3906
