OK well, a lot of the low hanging fruit has been addressed. Please note:

[ ] No Page titles within tags.
[X]New Logo
[X]Removed Wiki Text on About Box
[X]Added some padding to About Box
[X] On forum based pages there is no margin at the top of the page.
[X] White bits on the logo make it look unproffesional.
[X] “BrickFilms.com” rather than “Brickfilms.com”
[ ] Tutorial hover glow is darker than the rest of the links.
[X] When there is an invalid ID on the Film Directory there is no error message displayed.
[ ] On the tutorial page apparently the ratings are supposed to be clicked to allow the user to rate
the tutorial. The link does nothing.
[X] On the contests page the left hand panel cuts away from the main content and it looks horrible.
[X] (ignored) The footer is made of unnessicary images (3 in total) when it can be done with one.
[X] (ignored) The footer image does not smoothly join up with the body background.
[X] On the contests page when there is no contest no warning is displayed, there is just no content.
[X] (ignored) Bad markup.
[X] (ignored) Several improvements to code efficiency and design could be made.
[ ] Several members are administrators when they clearly shouldn’t (for instance, “America”, “Bicycle Repair Man”)
[ ] There are a few people who prefer the “prosilver” default design.
[ ] There is a rather noticeable difference in the thickness of the outer shadow at the top of the navigation bar.
[X] same for http://brickfilms.com/films/YourFilms if your not logged in

Joe has informed me that a new skin is being made for the forums that will look more like BF2.0. He said that he is going to start there and see where that goes, and if the whole site needs to be reworked to be more like BF2.0 to make people happy, then he will move towards that goal.

Just to clarify, I will discuss reskinning the whole site with management.

One thing that is missing is a decent film sorter, search function.

In the old brickfilms.com there were options for advanced search to search on every kind of property of films separately.

That functionality is really useful when searching for a specific brickfilm or just searching for the qualities the user likes in a film. Improvement to the submit film and rating forms will have to be made for adding this information.

The tutorial glow is still darker than the other things.
Are these improvements going to be done?
Guess they are not on the site yet.
The message seems to imply that these changes should already visible/active/done.

I’m still here. Haven’t had as much time as necessary to put towards this project, but we’re getting there..

Just a question, do you still have the old BF2.0 files?

I gave them the clone I created but you’ll probably expect an answer from them when they visit back in a year or two.
