Although a ignorant noob, I couldn’t help but noticing there was and is no Minister of Writing. After watching maybe 40-60 brickfilms I found that 80% of them have poor writing. Is there perhaps a historical explanation? Or just not on the ‘To Do’ list? |

Most Ministries don’t actually deal with brickfilms themselves, but things on the site. By that, I mean stuff like help for new people, forum moderation and caretaking of various parts of the site. When it comes to brickfilming itself, the “guys in charge” don’t interfere with the artists among the people. |

Wow, that’s about 20 times better than Hollywood. Nice writing, people! |

And you do realise most people on this site are children, don’t you? |

You don’t have to be an extremely smart little nerd to write a good story. You just need some imagination. It usually helps to read well written books also. |

Technically, Minister of Writing would be under my Ministry, but that’s only because I’ve gone beyond the established job description of a MoCP by getting deeply involved in the projects. |

As Lord of the Lego said: That’s no excuse, though, Matt. I, a mere 13 year old, have written 3 full length Scripts, all of over current Hollywood Standard, a full set of full length novels (all 90% original, no Star Galaxy novels here about a bounty hunter with a Lightsaber), am in the process of writing ‘GOLD’ (a community project that actually looks quite promising) and most of the above was in fact written LONG before i was 13. And i can animate better than some people alot older than me (Non brickfilmers though) So, if i can do it, why cant everyone else? And we are TEENAGERS! The youngest brickfilmer i have seen is 9, which is not really a ‘young’ Child. |

1. You’re an individual and not everyone may not be up to your, “high,” standards. 2. Just because you have written somethig doesn’t mean that it is any good. 3. How can you possibly know that you can animate better then someone who is older then you and that doesn’t make brickfilms? 4. You probably can write something better then current Hollywood standard, it’s not exactly that hard. Also, there are quite a few brickfilmers who are younger then you. |

Why does everyone say that? Why does everyone here think HollyWood is so terrible at writing stories? Or do you mean just HollyWood and not all the film makers? |
