Badgerboy for Minister of Sound! The sound library is in desperate need of repair. I usually check there first when I need a sound, but most of the time, it doesn’t have what I want, and I head over to Findsounds.com. There are three problems I see with the sound library:
So how will I fix these? Let me go through them one at a time. It’s hard to find. I also plan on making a dedicated WIKI page for sounds. There will be a link to this WIKI page of the front page of the WIKI. This page will contain a link to the sound library, as well as a few sounds from each category. These sounds will be changed every so often to keep things fresh. It is pretty disorganized. I also plan on organizing some other categories, even if they don't have a lot of sounds. One example is the Footsteps category, which I plan on breaking down into "6 Frame Walkcycles" and "4 Frame Walkcycles" to make finding what you want that much faster. There is no incentive to submit sounds. If you continue to submit quality sounds, then you will become an official Sound Library Top Contributor! You will get a nifty little title above your avatar that tells everyone just how cool you are. How neat is that? Plus, if there's an incentive for making sounds and submitting them, that means more sounds, which means better sounds in your brickfilms, which is great for everyone. I will also assign more Sound Curators. A Summary for People That Don't Feel Like Reading
And I want you to understand that, just like last time, everything in here is not a goal, but a promise. I promise you I will fulfill everything I said here. Also, if elected, being both MoS and MoT will not trouble me. I will still finish everything I said in both campaigns. Please ask any questions, or state any comments or concerns you have. So thank you. I hope you like this campaign because It Sounds Good to Me! –Badgerboy |

This might sound overrated, but it would be cool if you could become a patron for a year if you submitted a certain number of sounds. Although I cans see a few reasons why that wouldn’t be the best idea. -Leonardo |

Well, History500 is my buddy, but I’m going to admit, this is a better campaign than his, mainly because yours has more detail, and it’s more to sound than music. Sorry History, I really hope we can still be buds. I’ve seen many cases where emotions block logical judgment, it can screw people up, and they only hurt themselves. I don’t want that to happen to you. I’m sorry. Truly, truly sorry. |

Ummm, why would anyone vote for you? You probably spend more time at ILB talking about how stupid this website is than you do over here. Well, maybe not. But still, if your leaving later, it seems kind of dumb to elect you. |

Because as of right now, I’m the best candidate out there. Just because the management is horrible doesn’t mean the site itself is. I’m doing this for the people that want to make brickfilms, not for our management.
That’s a ridiculous assumption. I actually talk about brickfilms over there, because there are good threads over there. Right now, there are no interesting brickfilming related threads here.
Since when does leaving the forums mean I’ll be leaving the Wiki (and possibly sound library)? Even if I leave the forums, I’ll still be watching after everything I’m in charge of until my term is up. |

… he wouldn’t be worth voting for if he didn’t think he was a good candidate. |

Badgerboy, you’re all the MoS should be and you have some great ideas for the future. You have earned my vote. |

badgerboy, are you planning on collecting sound FX also or are you just fixing it? |

Well, of course I’ll be collecting sound effects. I’ll be using the same system chosen1 used in his sticky, so you can look there for more information. There will also be more sound curators to help me collect sound.
I don’t really understand…Wouldn’t a pretty campaign be a good one?
Not to be rude, but does it matter?
My reason is my campaign! This is a rather silly question, just read my campaign, I list several reasons why you should vote for me. I don’t know what you want me to say here. |

Not realy…For all I know you could be a big fat liar who won’t do anything your saying you’ll do.
Look at AlexChaplen…Alex and I are like buds, that’s why I voted for him, I know him. If you friend is going for class president or something and some other kid is also going for it, who are you going to vote for? If you answered “my friend”, you correct! ————————————————————————————————— And what experience do you have? |

What if the friend pledges to cut recess (Ok, I don’t have it anyway, but some of you may) and triple your homework amount? Surely you wouldn’t vote for him? Character is an important quality, but you should vote for the person who’s plan you most agree with. |

I’d vote for the better candidate. If the better one is my friend, I would vote for him. If not, I would vote for the other. I have plenty of experience with computers, but no experience whatsoever with coding. I’m sure I’d be able to learn how to change things I want to change, or at least get somebody else to do it. I know WIKI code, though, so making the WIKI page and maintaining it won’t be a problem. I have plenty of organizational experience. |
